Job Information Work Shift: Varies (United States) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Compensation: Salary Range: $32.25 - $48.00 per hour Union Position: No Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborate with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and use appropriate age and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment for residents in all phases. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform various nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. Provide assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Operate within the scopes and standards of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure. Qualifications Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
