Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound studies, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during examinations, providing clear explanations of the process
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referral doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report any issues as they arise
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient data within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in the field

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
