Rivers Casino Des Plaines 3000 S. River Road Des Plaines, IL 60018, USA Description Duties and Responsibilities: Directly oversees all facets of the Casino Floor, Aqua Bar, Lotus, Bet Rivers and High Limit Operations. Responsible for ensuring proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines Manages labor, cost of goods & other expenses to budget Effectively manages, tracks and ensures compliance with all products; commodities and papers supplies Responsible for the financials of the Casino Floor, Aqua Bar, Lotus, Bet Rivers and High Limit Responsible for development & performance of supervisors and line staff Responsible for hiring, managing, firing subordinates Communicates with operational departments and ensures appropriate information disseminated to F&B staff Establishes performance & profit objectives for Casino Floor, Aqua Bar, Lotus, Bet Rivers and High Limit outlets. Performs the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino – Des PlainesICS Responsible for implementing & enforcing F&B procedures Drives Service Initiatives Responsible for maintaining our high level of expectations for food quality & overall culture Performs all other duties as may be assigned Job Requirements: 3–5 years F&B leadership role, in gaming or hospitality environment BA Degree in gaming/hospitality or related field preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent leadership / motivation skills. Excellent organization and planning skills. Excellent knowledge in various computers programs including MicrosoftOffice (Word, Excel, etc.). Budget and mathematical skills.
