About the Job

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you'll perform a wide range of ultrasound examinationsincluding OB, high-risk, vascular, abdominal, small parts, and invasive procedureswhile delivering compassionate care and producing high-quality diagnostic images. You'll collaborate closely with Radiologists, support new staff training, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality throughout every interaction.

What You'll Do

• Review patient medical history and reconcile physician orders
• Complete required documentation prior to exams
• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols
• Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures
• Ensure image quality and proper documentation
• Present images for interpretation and consult on findings
• Use RIS and PACS systems proficiently
• Uphold HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Safely move patients using appropriate equipment
• Support onboarding and training of new staff

Who You Are

• Graduate of an AMA-approved ultrasound training program
• ARDMS certified or eligible (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Licensed by the NH Board of Medical Imaging
• Proficient in computer systems and data entry
• Able to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and a strong communicator
