Manager - Statistical Programming (Hybrid)

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Statistical Programming to lead a team of statistical programmers in pharmaceutical R&D, with responsibility for statistical programming activities in the Neuroscience group. The role requires expertise in SAS, CDISC standards, and ADaM development, along with experience managing programming teams and interfacing across functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead statistical programming activities for compounds and therapeutic areas in early development
- Manage team of statistical programmers and oversee resource planning and staff mentoring
- Develop and oversee SAS programs for ADaM datasets and Tables, Listings, and Figures following standards
- Create regulatory documentation including reviewer guides and data definition documents
- Ensure quality processes, timely deliverables, and consistency across integrated datasets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Mathematics
- 10+ years relevant experience (or 8+ with Master's degree)
- Demonstrated leadership of statistical programming teams or projects
- Advanced SAS programming skills for drug development applications
- In-depth knowledge of CDISC standards and ADaM dataset development
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to estimate programming effort and represent organization cross-functionally
