Job Title: Community Support Substance Abuse Specialist (Licensed Addiction Specialist)

Location: Goldsboro/Wilson Area, NC (Hybrid Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $55,000 per year

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Addiction Specialist to join a Community Support Team serving the Goldsboro/Wilson area. This role focuses on providing community-based substance use disorder services, crisis intervention, recovery planning, and care coordination to support individuals on their path to recovery.

• Deliver psychoeducation based on each beneficiary's Person-Centered Plan (PCP).

• Conduct substance use assessments and functional evaluations.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during emergencies.

• Develop and implement individualized substance use treatment and relapse prevention plans.

• Coordinate care with medical, behavioral health, and community providers.

• Assist clients with housing resources and community support services.

• Help beneficiaries develop independent living and coping skills.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Active or provisional North Carolina licensure as one of the following:

  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)

  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A)

  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC)

• Experience treating individuals with substance use disorders.

• Strong crisis intervention, assessment, and case management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently in a community-based setting.

• Salary: $55,000 annually
