This specialty food manufacturer is passionate about crafting high-quality products such as cream cheese stuffed peppers and flavorful olive blends. As a newly established operation in the United States, the facility provides a clean, friendly, and welcoming work environment where team members contribute directly to creating high-quality foods This is a long-term position that provides steady work, and opportunities for growth.
As a Production Worker at Perla Foods, you will play an important role in producing high-quality products that our customers love.
Production Worker Responsibilities:
- Accept and inspect incoming semi-finished products for quality and completeness.
- Stuff peppers and olives with the appropriate fillings according to recipes and specifications.
- Accurately weigh stuffed products to ensure they meet specified standards before packaging.
- Follow all operational procedures and instructions from supervisors to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Monitor products for quality and consistency during the stuffing process.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 25-50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a steady pace throughout the work shift.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $16/hr.
Production Worker Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cold environment
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
- Ability to lift 25-5lbs.
