Quality Engineer

Description Auria Holmesville is looking to add a Quality Engineer to the team! Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Our products help drivers around the world have quiet drives. We operate 17 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering, testing, and tooling facilities in 11 countries and have nearly 3,900 employees worldwide. Responsibilities: Experienced in using statistical tools, problem-solving tools, and methodology (i.e., 8D, 5Y, Fishbone, etc.). Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions resulting from non-conformances. Assist with the analysis of SPC data. Develop and maintain error-proofing/mistake-proofing methods in manufacturing cells. Participate in APQP team activities for IMDS submissions, Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Charts. Manage new processes and implementation regarding new product launches. Participate in plant continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in customer meetings. Participate in quality reporting and management review process. Provide process improvement recommendations. Preferred Education/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is required. 3-5 years of Quality Experience. Proven work experience in process engineering. Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus. Familiarity with process flow as it relates to lean manufacturing. Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required. Effective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills are required. Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism while interacting with internal and external customers is required. Effective attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills are required. Experience with ISO-16949 and ISO-9001 is preferred.
