Utilities Project Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project teams within a large utility generation organization. This individual will be responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, supporting budgets and financial reporting, tracking invoices and purchase orders, coordinating contractors and vendors, and assisting with project logistics. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced supporting projects within utility, engineering, construction, industrial, or technical environments.

• Support project teams with budgeting, cost tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communications between project stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
• Assist with contractor bid packages, purchase orders, and vendor management activities.
• Maintain project documentation, records, reports, and configuration management requirements.
• Set up and manage project information within accounting and project management systems.
• Coordinate contractor mobilization, site access, outage support, and project logistics.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and status updates to support project execution and decision-making.

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of project coordination or project support experience.
• Utility, power generation, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or construction experience.
• Experience tracking project budgets, invoices, purchase orders, or financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
