We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director Of Nursing to join our dynamic team.Position Summary:As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to our residents. You will work closely with our Director of Nursing to ensure that quality care is provided to our residents consistent with company and regulatory standards.Responsibilities:Screens prospective admissions for level of care and anticipated needs required by federal regulationsResponsible for making daily rounds on unit to supervise, observe, examine, interview residents, evaluate staffing needs, and monitor regulatory complianceUtilizes resources in an efficient and economic manner to ensure that each resident achieves the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-beingAssists Director of Nursing with preparation for Department of Health SurveyImplements nursing policies and procedures that reflect facility mission and philosophyPerforms the duties of the DON during the Director's absence from the facilityPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be a licensed Registered NurseThree to five (3-5) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing preferredKnowledge of Point Click Care software program a plusAbout Us:At Polaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, our mission is to be an employer of choice in the greater Milford Community as we meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents in a compassionate environment that promotes dignity and respect.
