Tool and Die Maker

All updates:
Both roles are 2nd shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm + 10% shift differential.
Double-time on sundays
They will report into a Tool Room Superintendent (starting probably end of this month).
$35+ (we will pay for someone with a great background)
Relocation assistance - $10k sign-on bonus
Must have progressive stamping (non-negotiable)

New Tech Global is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for a client located in Northvale, NJ. This is a direct hire opportunity for 2nd shift.


Main Responsibilities
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and material requirements to determine optimal design and production methods.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production personnel to ensure quality and functionality of tools.
• Design and create precision tools, progressive dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauge blocks, to measure and inspect finished tools.
• Maintain accurate records of tool design, production, and performance.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with tools and recommend repairs or modifications.

Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a tool and die maker.
• Experience working with progressive dies and stamping is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
• Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes.
• Experience with quality control analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
