Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clients throughout the night to ensure safety, compliance, and well-being
- Conduct routine room checks and facility rounds at scheduled intervals
- Enforce house rules, curfews, and program policies consistently
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations in shift reports/logs
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical, behavioral, or facility-related issues
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed
- Ensure the facility remains secure (locking doors, monitoring entrances/exits)
- Administer breathalyzer or drug screenings if required by program policy
- Communicate relevant information to incoming staff during shift handoff
- Support clients with basic needs during overnight hours (e.g., hygiene items, addressing concerns)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas as needed
