Registered Dietitian Acute Care | 13-Week Contract
Location: Huntington, NY
Pay: $54$55/hour
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:00 AM3:00 PM
Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) for an exciting 13-week hospital contract in Huntington, NY. This position will provide nutritional care across various hospital units, supporting adult acute-care patients, primarily an older patient population. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and individualized nutrition care plans
- Cover various acute-care units throughout the hospital
- Monitor patients nutritional status and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Utilize Sunrise, Epic, and CBORD
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) Required
- New York State license Required
- Minimum 1+ year of experience
- Acute-care experience required
Preferred
- 3+ years of experience
- Critical-care experience
