Talent Acquisition Consultant- Intermediate

Overview Talent Acquisition Consultant - Intermediate. This role manages a high‑volume, fast‑moving requisition load, requiring strong prioritization and consistent communication to keep candidates and hiring leaders aligned. The consultant ensures an exceptional candidate experience while advancing qualified talent efficiently in a high‑demand environment. Key Relationships Reports to: Manager‑Talent Acquisition. Direct Reports: None. Shift: Full‑time day shift role working Monday‑Friday in a hybrid capacity with some on‑site expectations at our Downtown Indianapolis office as needed. Ensures workforce planning and talent management efforts are aligned with system best practices. Communication – Shares thoughts and information in a clear, concise and professional manner, in both oral and written communication formats. Demonstrates active listening and seeks further information to ensure clarity and understanding. Promptly responds to requests for information while obtaining guidance where needed. Ethical Practice – Maintains confidentiality as appropriate, earns trust and respect of others, and exhibits behaviors that express the ethical practice of a healthcare organization. Demonstrates thorough and logical thought processes to support actions/recommendations. Reports and responds immediately to unethical behavior or conflicts of interest. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and corporate policies. Critical Thinking – Leverages curiosity and insights to explore rationale behind decision‑making. Connects pieces of information from various sources to improve problem‑solving capabilities and recommendations. Recognizes and distinguishes questions, problems, and conflict. Leverages knowledge and experiences to ensure best practices are being implemented in day‑to‑day work. Execution – Addresses problems directly and implements objectives effectively. Produces on‑time, high‑quality work deliverables. Applies basic project management principles, and applies logical, consistent and organized standard of work practices. Leverages recruiting best practices, aligned with total rewards philosophy, to ensure most qualified applicants are sourced and presented to leaders, and best final candidate selections are made. Tracks and reports key talent management metrics to drive continuous improvement. Candidate Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience. Knowledge of compensation structures and experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external candidate hires. Knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g., FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.). Knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies. Demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies and process improvement initiatives. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and using an applicant tracking system. 3–5 years of relevant experience within a matrixed organization; healthcare setting preferred. Experience with internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.
