Job Title: Production Planner
Location:  Duluth, MN
Compensation: $24.00-31.25 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | Day Shift Hours

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Planner for a manufacturing company in Duluth, MN. • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
• Analyze labor loading, production capacity, and resource availability to optimize operations
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address changing priorities and demand
• Coordinate customer order status updates and expedite orders when necessary
• Lead planning and new product introduction (NPI) meetings with cross-functional teams
• Support quality inspections and documentation of production results as needed
• Provide backup support for shipping, logistics coordination, and shipment documentation

What You Need to Bring to the Production Planner Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2–4 years of planning, scheduling, production control, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret production data and make sound scheduling decisions
• Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing settings and comply with all safety requirements
