CT Technologist (Hiring Immediately)

Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Main Hospital - New Brunswick
Status: Hourly
Shift: Night
Pay Range: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour
The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
Prioritizes the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a CT Technologist. 
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
~ Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education. 
~ Must have ARRT or CRT and State of New Jersey License. 
Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. 
Able to position all anatomical parts as indicated by the Standard Operating Procedures. 
~ Ensures all necessary equipment is at hand prior to starting the ordered examination. 
~ Under the direction of a Radiologist, instructs and administers cleansing preps and contrast agents. 
~ Transfers and properly position patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications. 
~ Assists physicians in performance of examinations. 
~ As outlined in radiology policy and procedure and under the direction of the medical chairman the technologist will have proven competency in the administration of IV contrast media, to include venipuncture. 
~ Maintains room and room’s stock. 
~ Responsible for necessary equipment maintenance recommendations and troubleshooting when indicated. Keeps all necessary equipment maintenance logs which pertain to preventative maintenance of Emergency service. 
~ Responsible for quality control of Cat scan examinations. 
~ Uses the computer system according to standard operating procedures: 
~ Attends in-service training as required by the department 
~ Assists in the instruction of student technologists
