What You Will Do

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a new Full time General Cardiologist to our team at our clinic at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of 7 physicians and 16 APPs
• Call structure: 1:4
• Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient
• Access to Cath lab | Robotics | Dedicated block time | Support staff
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Fellowship trained in General Cardiology
• Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation preferred
• Endovascular medicine certification preferred
• Manage a healthy and consistent vascular volume, with an average of 50100 vascular interpretations annually.
• Work alongside an exceptional, tight-knit team of fellow Interventional Cardiologists and highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who manage top-of-license duties to streamline your day.
• Expand your footprint and build strong regional ties by providing dedicated outreach care to our partner locations just one day per week.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
