This role is situated within a 30-bed MS/TELE unit where adaptability to variable patient acuity levels is key. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Managing patient care activities and ensuring safe nurse-patient ratios between 1:5/6 based on care needs
• Administering medications and monitoring patient responses within a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
• Floating between units as required and providing adaptability in care delivery
• Coordinating with healthcare team members to ensure patient care plans are communicated and executed
• Performing charge nurse duties including patient assignments, pyxis and crash cart checks

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Active RN license with 2+ years of MS/TELE experience
• ACLS/BLS certification required
• Recent Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months
• Nursing degree accredited through ACEN or CCNE
• Willingness to float and flexibility in shift patterns
