Warehouse Associate - New Albany
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Associate to work with a leading company in the manufacturing and distribution sector in New Albany. This role involves handling inventory, receiving and preparing shipments, and ensuring product accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Shift patterns
- Part-time schedule. Associates can pick their work days and their shift.
Pay rates
- 14.00 - 15.00 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Warehouse Associate
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Skills requirements for Warehouse Associate
- Familiar with pallet jacks and basic inventory tracking
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
- Must enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed
- Must provide own clothing: jeans, collared shirt with closed-toed sturdy shoes
Role for Warehouse Associate
- Physically unload freight from containers and trailers
- Build and shrink-wrap pallets according to distribution specifications
- Receive freight with the ability to identify case packs and pallet patterns
- Use manual pallet jacks to move stock
- Ensure product accuracy and organize stock in a fast-paced environment
