Fire Sprinkler Project Manager

Job Roles and Responsibilities • Manage all phases of fire sprinkler installation projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with design teams, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and proposals.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Prepare and manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, building codes, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress and resolve project issues.
• Communicate project expectations with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Track project costs and monitor financial performance.
• Provide leadership and support to field personnel.
• Enforce safety standards and job site compliance.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications and Certifications • Minimum 3-5 years of Fire Sprinkler Project Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards (NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25).
• Knowledge of local building codes and fire department regulations.
• Familiarity with hydraulic calculations, fire sprinkler system design, and installation methods.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience with estimating, budgeting, and job costing preferred.
• NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• PMP certification or formal Project Management training is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
