Trading System QA/UAT Analyst

Company Description Clear Markets is a leading innovator in electronic marketplaces Swaps & derivatives. Role Description The Trading System QA/UAT Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on testing and validating electronic trading platforms and related components to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability before release. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, documenting results, and tracking defects through resolution in coordination with development and product teams. The analyst will support user acceptance testing with internal stakeholders and clients, verify that system changes meet business requirements, and contribute to regression testing for ongoing releases. The role also involves analyzing production issues, supporting root cause investigations, and recommending improvements to testing processes and quality standards. Strong knowledge of derivatives, margin/risk concepts (IM, VM, MTM, collateral), and institutional trading operations is essential. Experience with Playwright or Cypress is a plus. Qualifications Strong quality assurance skills, including test planning, defect tracking, and adherence to QA best practices. Hands-on experience with test execution and test management, including writing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for complex systems. Experience with UAT processes for trading or financial applications; familiarity with electronic trading workflows and fixed income or derivatives products is highly beneficial. Comfort with using test management tools and issue-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA or similar) and basic SQL or data analysis skills for validating test results. Strong knowledge of derivatives, margin/risk concepts (IM, VM, MTM, collateral), and institutional trading operations is essential. Experience with Playwright or Cypress is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
