1st Shift - Production Material Handler - Reach Truck

Responsibilities Operate a reach truck to pick, replenish, and stage materials for production cells Deliver materials accurately and on time to support manufacturing flow Maintain inventory accuracy during picking and replenishment Execute put‑away and bin consolidation as required Maintain safe equipment operation and clean work areas Assist with receiving or trailer unloading and put away as needed Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and safety KPIs Move materials between cells, following routing, delivery tickets or orders Fill orders from storage areas and warehouse stock and deliver to designated cells Operate hand truck and reach trucks to move materials and stack loaded pallets Accurately perform inventory transactions using the ERP system Communicate discrepancies, damages, or shortages to Inventory Control or Purchasing Contribute team effort by training others as needed Unload inbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment Inspect, verify, and document incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips Accurately receive materials into the ERP system Apply correct labeling, identification, and storage requirements Safety & Housekeeping Operate material handling equipment safely and follow all OSHA and company safety standards Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, aisles, racks, and staging zones Follow proper PPE guidelines and participate in safety audits or training You’ve Got This? 5 years of warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing support experience required 5 years of experience operating powered industrial truck (PIT) – sit down forklift, reach truck, riding electric pallet jack Experience with inbound receiving, inventory control, or internal material delivery Able to read and interpret shipping documents Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Basic to intermediate computer skills Understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English Strong communication and teamwork skills High degree of accuracy and accountability Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to support continuous improvement Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Physical Demands This work is classified as Medium – Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor’s Dictionary of Occupational Titles Frequencies: Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%) Lifting Demands Lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis floor to waist with assistance Lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis floor to waist Carry up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis up to 25 feet Push/Pull up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis Push/Pull more than 40 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance Postural Demands Lifting – frequent Variable hand/power tool use – frequent Two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling, and pushing including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and hoists What We Offer: Access to experts and resources for your Learning & Development journey Opportunity for internal mobility Employee referral bonus program Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Annual fundraising and volunteer events to give back to communities Paid time off, floating holidays, time off to volunteer and rollover Paid parental leave Medical, dental, vision and 401k plans (with match) Flexible spending account, mass transit and dependent care plans available Health savings account, with a annual company contribution for plan participants Short-term and long-term disability; life insurance policies subsidized by company Additional benefits including pet insurance, accident care, access to legal advice and more NOTE This job description is not intended, nor should it be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, or working conditions associated with this job. Work Schedule This position is full‑time and onsite Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Saturday availability is required and dependent upon customer’s needs and production schedule. Compensation Range Hourly Range: $20.00 - $25.00. This position is eligible to earn (annual) incentives based on individual and company performance. The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
