Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Central New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units as needed. Block scheduling is available based on facility needs.

Highlights:

• 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive ED setting: 40 acute care beds, 2 triage rooms, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 psychiatric beds
• EPIC electronic medical records system
• Common diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Specialty equipment experience includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred

Requirements:

• Active New York Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient care
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
