Position Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Superintendent to oversee commercial/residential electrical projects from start to finish. This position is responsible for coordinating field operations, managing project schedules and manpower, working with customers and other contractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

• The ideal candidate has strong electrical experience, leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of a project while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through completion.

• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and project scopes.

• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates and potential delays.

• Work closely with general contractors, owners, engineers, and other trades.

• Attend project meetings and provide project updates as needed.

• Review change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.

• Track project costs and help ensure work is completed within budget.

• Identify potential project issues and work proactively to resolve them.

• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Field Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate electricians, apprentices, and other field personnel.

• Plan daily and weekly manpower needs based on project requirements.

• Ensure work is installed according to plans, specifications, applicable codes, and

• company standards.

• Coordinate electrical work with other trades to prevent conflicts and delays.

• Perform regular jobsite inspections and monitor quality of work.

• Ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.

• Communicate expectations and provide direction to field employees.

• Assist with troubleshooting electrical and project-related issues.

Safety & Quality

• Promote and enforce a safe working environment.

• Ensure employees follow company safety policies and jobsite requirements.

• Monitor work for quality, code compliance, and proper installation practices.

• Address safety or quality concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial/residential electrical experience, with significant field leadership experience.

• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Foreman, Project Manager, or similar leadership position.

• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, and the National Electrical Code.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and drawings.

• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and project coordination.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

• Ability to work effectively with customers, general contractors, employees, and other trades.

• Proficiency with computers and common construction/project management software.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.

• Experience managing commercial electrical projects from start to finish.

• Experience with project management software and construction scheduling.

• OSHA safety training or certification.

• Experience with estimating, change orders, RFIs, and project closeout.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work on active commercial construction sites.

• Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs/ladders, and navigate jobsites as required.

• Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment.

• Willingness to travel to project locations as needed.

• Ability to work occasional extended hours based on project schedules.
