Job overview Join our team as an Assistant Project Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of electrical construction projects. This full-time position involves managing schedules, budgets and coordination while ensuring quality and timely completion. You’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver exceptional results. What you’ll do Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with teams to ensure milestones are met on time. Manage budgets, cost control, and subcontractor agreements to support project success. Conduct regular site walks to monitor schedules, coordination and quality throughout the project. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on schedules and costs. Communicate clearly with internal and external personnel, providing effective project updates and fostering strong relationships. Manage contracts and relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers. Utilize project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid/Change Order) for efficient project oversight. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or related field) or strong electrical field experience Minimum of 3 years of project experience in commercial construction Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, design coordination and electrical systems Knowledge of electrical equipment, materials and specifications Ability to visualize and sketch an electrical layout Analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment Ability to pass a drug test and a background check #J-18808-Ljbffr Cache Valley Electric Company
