Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan – 49503
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Focus primarily on lung cancer patients with secondary coverage of general/benign hematology cases

• Provide outpatient oncology care : 8–16 patients/day

• Participate in hospital rounds (average census: 22 patients across 2 hospitals)

• Administer care orders, prescribe medications, and collaborate with nurse oncologists for chemotherapy administration

• Participate on Tumor Board

• Perform FNA/Biopsy procedures as required

• Utilize Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology

• ️ Active Michigan License (or willing to obtain)

• BLS certification

• ️ NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days

• Willingness to focus on thoracic (lung) oncology patients
