Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily nursing operations and coordinate care delivery for residents Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care plans and policies Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders Conduct resident assessments and document health status and progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, providing leadership during critical situations Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation Skills and Qualifications: Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice Proven experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting Strong leadership and supervisory skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing home care Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems We foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
