Job Title: Painter Prep
Location: Mankato, MN
Compensation: $19.00-$21.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 4:30 PM-3:00 AM

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Painter Prep workers for a specialty door manufacturing company in Mankato, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure products meet quality finish standards while supporting efficient paint operations in a production environment. • Review and understand project specifications and requirements
• Inspect materials and perform final preparation before painting
• Load and unload paint and paint-related supplies
• Ensure color and finish tolerances meet quality standards
• Monitor paint and supply inventory levels and notify the Lead when replenishment is needed
• Perform quality assurance checks throughout the painting process
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines

What You Need to Bring to the Painter Prep Role:

• 1+ years of industrial or auto body painting experience preferred
• Ability to frequently lift 25-50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow SOPs, quality standards, and safety practices
• Ability to successfully complete respiratory fit testing requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
