Director of Cybersecurity

DescriptionWe are seeking a collaborative Head of Cybersecurity to lead and evolve the organization's security strategy while fostering strong partnerships across IT and the business. This leader will work closely with executives, technology teams, and business stakeholders to balance security, operational needs, and business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep cybersecurity expertise, a pragmatic approach to risk management, and the ability to influence through partnership rather than mandate.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals.Partner with IT, business leaders, and global teams to embed security into technology and operational initiatives.Lead security operations, incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and risk reduction efforts.Advance cloud security, identity and access management, Zero Trust, and data protection capabilities.Establish security governance, policies, standards, and compliance programs while promoting a culture of shared responsibility.Provide guidance and consultation on major initiatives, including cloud, AI, and digital transformation projects.Build and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team and manage external security partners.Communicate security priorities, risks, and program maturity to executive leadership in a clear and business-focused manner.Requirements10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience in enterprise environments.Strong background in security operations, cloud security, IAM, governance, risk management, and incident response.Experience with SIEM platforms, AWS security, and Zero Trust frameworks.CISSP, CCSP, or similar certification preferred.Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and drive organization-wide security improvements through collaboration and partnership.Job typePerm
