HR Assistant

Cavco Lafayette 739 Highway 52 Byp W Lafayette, TN 37083, USA Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR and production functions and duties Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc) Coordinate HR projects (dinners, celebrations, meetings, training, surveys etc) Assist with employee requests regarding human resources issues Assist in payroll as a back-up role Maintain confidentiality as circumstances warrant Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees Assist recruiting to source candidates and keep database updated MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree in HR-related field or equivalent experience preferred 5+ years' related administrative experience Detail-oriented and organized Strong communication and customer service skills Solid understanding of MS Office Experience with UKG / UltiPro payroll software is preferred Familiar with applicant tracking database systems preferred BENEFITS INCLUDE: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Short and Long Term Disability insurance Accident and Critical Illness insurance Company-paid Life and Voluntary Term Life coverage Vacation and Sick Time Eight paid holidays per year Employee assistance program Preferred Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Education Preferred High School or better.
