Occupational Therapist Position

What you will be doing:
- Providing consultation, evaluation, and assessment of residents/clients.
- Participating in resident/client treatment planning and implementation to help reach their rehabilitation goals.
- Performing thorough and concise clinical documentation on time.
- Providing education on treatment/equipment to residents/clients and their families.

- A valid FL Occupational Therapy license.
- A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork – be proactive, resourceful, and collaborative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate between residents/clients and staff.

- This position may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. PSLF is a federal program that forgives the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer. We are: The Mead Therapy Center is located on Cypress Cove campus - a beautiful 60-acre life plan community at HealthPark Florida in South Fort Myers. Cypress Cove is home to more than 650 residents and offers a full complement of quality living options—independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and rehabilitative care. The premier 3,500-square-foot therapy center, which offers both in-patient and out-patient care, combines state-of-the-art technologies with innovative therapies (Physical, Speech, Occupational, Cardiopulmonary) to offer the most advanced rehab program in the Fort Myers region.
