About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Engineer to lead technical aspects of projects in Welkom . This senior role involves providing expert engineering guidance, overseeing site operations, and ensuring the technical integrity and quality of construction work. You will be responsible for solving complex engineering challenges, managing project execution, and collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. This is a crucial position for a seasoned engineer who is passionate about construction excellence and seeks to influence large-scale projects, contributing to the built environment in the Free State with a company that emphasizes technical mastery and innovation. Key Responsibilities Provide expert engineering oversight and technical direction for construction projects. Review and approve construction plans, specifications, and technical designs. Oversee and manage on-site engineering activities, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues that arise during construction. Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure construction meets required standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction engineering and project management. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale construction projects. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities . Professional Engineer (Pr.
