Program Associate - Community Services

Circle of Service Foundation is a Chicago-based Foundation that makes grants in the areas of Community Services, Education, Jewish Community, Medical Research, Violence Reduction and Climate. ABOUT THE POSITION The Circle of Service Foundation seeks a Program Associate who will support the Foundation’s Community Services Program in all aspects of grant review and grantmaking, including administration, research and special projects. The Community Services Program supports organizations primarily working in the health, housing and homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, disability services, legal services and economic security fields. The Program Associate will report to the Community Services Program Director and their time will be allocated approximately as follows: The Foundation seeks a Program Associate who will support the Foundation’s Community Services Program in all aspects of grant review and grantmaking, including administration, research and special projects. The Community Services Program supports organizations primarily working in the health, housing and homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, disability services, legal services and economic security fields. The Program Associate will report to the Community Services Program Director and their time will be allocated approximately as follows: 50% support of grantmaking and special projects 25% grant review and recommendations 25% research and other work as assigned The Program Associate will split their time (approximately) between grantmaking assistance and monitoring and leading and participating in community services and capacity building projects.
