Supplier Operations Specialist

Job Summary & General Duties Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to achieve quality, service, innovation, and cost objectives. Coordinate supplier activities and communications to support product launches, packaging changes, promotional programs, and ongoing business requirements. Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal cross‑functional teams to resolve issues, communicate priorities, and ensure timely execution of projects. Lead supplier coordination efforts for new product introductions, reformulations, and commercialization initiatives, ensuring key milestones and timelines are met. Create and manage purchase orders and supplier commitments to support approved business requirements and project timelines. Evaluate supplier performance and support vendor scorecard and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Marketing, R&D, Quality, Production, and Planning teams to ensure successful execution of launch activities and operational projects. Identify and mitigate supplier‑related risks that could impact product availability, launch schedules, quality standards, or customer experience. Support item set up, supplier master data maintenance, and operational activities within Oracle and other business systems. Ensure activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company policies, and documentation standards. Attributes Develops and maintains strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Takes ownership of projects, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful launch and operational outcomes. Effectively communicates priorities, risks, and expectations across suppliers and cross‑functional teams. Anticipates challenges, identifies solutions, and drives issue resolution to minimize business disruption. Successfully manages multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Knowledge and Skills Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field required. 3+ years of experience in procurement, supplier management, supply chain, commercialization, or operations. Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience coordinating suppliers and cross‑functional stakeholders to execute projects and product launches. Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
