We're totally transforming our business and building our future on one clear purpose – to deliver a smoke-free future.The Vendor Specialist is responsible for ensuring vendor and product quality through audits, testing, and performance reviews, while driving continuous improvement, supporting ISO compliance, analyzing data for informed decision-making, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver accurate, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.Your 'day to day'Conduct internal and external vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standardsImplement and maintain vendor audit systems to support Six Sigma-level quality performanceLead vendor performance reviews covering quality, service, and deliveryPerform material line studies, testing, and validation for new and existing productsManage test orders and verify accuracy of incoming raw materials and vendor invoicesExecute quality audits for in-process and finished goods; drive corrective actions as neededAnalyze data and generate clear, actionable reports to support decision-makingPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and customers to ensure satisfaction and successful change implementationSupport ISO 9001 audits and maintain compliance with quality standardsServe as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendorsLead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projectsDeliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWho we're looking for:Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environmentExperience with GMP, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 strongly preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities with attention to detailEffective communicator with strong interpersonal skillsProficiency in basic statistics and computer applicationsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyMinimal travel requiredLegally authorized to work in the U.S. (required)Annual Base Salary Range: $ 66,400 - $83,000PMI offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, wellness programs, paid time off, and more.Philip Morris International's U.S. businesses are working to advance a smoke-free future by providing better alternatives to legal-age adults who smoke.
