Job Summary for Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER):

- Provide direct patient care to individuals requiring emergency medical attention.
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation.
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-support interventions as necessary.
- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver optimal emergency care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
- Remain calm and effective while managing high-stress, fast-paced situations.
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department.

Med Ninjas Job ID #14896. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
