AS/400 COBOL DeveloperLocation: San Antonio, TXFulltime – PermanentJob DescriptionAS/400 COBOL DeveloperMust Have Technical/Functional SkillsAS/400, COBOL, DB2, RPG/RPGLE, SQL, IBM iSeriesRoles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and support business-critical AS/400 COBOL and RPG-based applications, adding strong legacy support to the team's technical arsenal.Deep understanding of DB2 databases; creating and maintaining data models, and troubleshooting/tuning advanced SQL performance issues on the iSeries platform.Extensive experience in analyzing, debugging, and resolving complex batch processing and interactive application issues.Collaborate with cross-functional and modernization teams to integrate AS/400 applications with modern distributed systems.Experience in continuous integration/deployment processes specific to the IBM i environment.Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
