Dispatcher / Distribution Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher / Distribution Coordinator to support outbound and inbound transportation operations. This role is responsible for dispatching shipments, building loads, coordinating transportation activities, and ensuring efficient communication with carriers and internal teams. The ideal candidate has experience in distribution or dispatch, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound and inbound dispatch activities.
• Build and schedule transportation loads to maximize efficiency.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipment execution.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve transportation issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and transportation documentation.
• Utilize email, Excel, and other computer applications to manage daily operations.
• Collaborate with team members to support distribution and logistics objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of distribution, dispatch, or transportation experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, email, and general computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
