Qualifications & Experience:

• Eligible for South Carolina School Psychologist certification (out-of-state applicants must meet this requirement)
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a School Psychologist working in elementary school settings
• In-depth knowledge of South Carolina Special Education laws and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with school staff, students, and families
• Ability to provide direct support services, consultation, and intervention planning
• Comfortable working onsite for the assignment duration

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments tailored to elementary age students
• Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive educational outcomes
• Deliver counseling and behavioral intervention services as needed
• Support crisis intervention and provide recommendations for student support strategies
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance regulations
