Product Coordinator - Health & Nutrition - Asia Markets

Market America is looking for an Entry-Level Product Coordinator to assist with our Health & Nutrition Products primarily in our Asian Markets.Mandarin language skills preferred.Position Summary:The Product Coordinator provides strategic and practical input for specific product offerings for the product life-cycle for our International Markets. They will learn to assist with Marketing campaigns, sales reports, market performance, financial impacts, trends, and merchandising strategies. Essential Function and Responsibilities:Develop new productsDiscover and analyze local market trends and consumer needs to develop launch list Work with Science Team on formulation development Check with local consultant on formulation of launch items; file or register the formulation and product with local health authorities for approvalComplete Competitive Analysis on new potential products and existing products data on Competitive productsAnalyze market potential to identify pricing points and get pricing approvalWork with cross-functional teams on creating labels, sales aids, and marketing materials, including videos, flyers and infographicsManage existing productsCoordinate, monitor and capitalize performances of products Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales and create with CS advertising and promotional materialsKnow local market tends to promote products and stimulate salesManage websites to ensure correct product information and placement is displayed correctlyUpdate white papers with Science Team for changes in local product regulations Revise labels with Science Team for changes in formula and/or local product regulations.Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Market America.Education & Experience:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field required or equivalentTwo to three years of experience in product management, project management, brand management, marketing, or merchandisingComputer/Communication Skills:Ability to be consistent and remain determined, focused, confident, and in control under pressureProficient use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, requiredAbility to present training topics to small or medium sized groupsHigh energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted strategic projects in conjunction with day-to-day tactical activitiesAbility to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible Prioritizes and models good communication skills; follows up, timely responses, proactive and positive in approachAbove moderate to high levels in reading comprehension, writing, and speaking in English; active listening; attention to detail; critical thinking; creative problem solving; complex problem solving; and judgment.Participative management styleadvocate of team concept Ability to establish credibility and be decisivebut is able to recognize and support senior managements preferences and priorities to advance the organizationResults and people oriented, with judgment to balance other business considerationsService oriented, but assertive/persuasiveTravel:Annual conference related travelPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Long and odd hours particularly around major events-24/7 coverage from the teamNormal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid)Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinetsMay require visits to the Warehouse area- where employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, and mild noise levelsRegularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouchRaise and lower an object from one level to the another, less than 20 lbs.
