About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Days

Location

Rockport, Maine

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (10 Weeks) | Travel | Primarily Day Shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) with some required night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); 36 guaranteed hours per week; 24 hours every other weekend; holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to adult, pediatric, and newborn (birthing center) patient populations
• Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment including high-flow nasal oxygen systems and multiple ventilator platforms (Respironics V60, Drager Evita Infinity V500, Getinge Servo-s, and Hamilton T1)
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Work independently as needed within the respiratory therapy department
• Float to an affiliate facility as operationally required
• Work holiday shifts as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification (required prior to start)
• Current NRP certification
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a variable shift schedule including nights

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of respiratory therapy experience
• Experience with Fisher & Paykel Airvo 2 nasal high-flow oxygen systems and multi-platform ventilator management
• Experience working in a patient population that includes adult, pediatric, and neonatal/newborn patients
