IS Computer Support Technician

We are seeking a Computer Support Technician I to provide Tier I help desk and desktop support at a secure power-generation facility.
Responsibilities:

Provide onsite technical support to end users.

Troubleshoot Windows, hardware, software, account, connectivity, and peripheral issues.

Install and support software, workstations, and IT equipment.

Document and track issues, resolutions, and technical procedures.
-
Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams.
-
Support user accounts, system access, inventory, and workstation deployments.
-
Follow site security, safety, and IT procedures.
Requirements:
-
High school diploma/GED required.
-
3+ years of directly related IT/help desk experience, or qualifying associate degree/experience combination.

Basic knowledge of Windows, LANs, client-server systems, hardware, and desktop support.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

U.S. citizenship required.

Must be able to work onsite in Richland, WA, Monday Thursday.
Preferred: Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, ServiceNow/Jira, endpoint deployment, remote-support tools, or CompTIA A+/Network+ certification. Experience in power, utilities, government, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated environments is a plus.
