Caregiving Companion

Caregiver We are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. In this role, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals in need, allowing them to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. Job Type: Part Time Non-exempt Hourly: $15 - $18 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders. Assist with household tasks necessary to the client’s health care needs. Accompany clients to appointments and outings. Monitor and report changes in a client’s health or behavior. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Positive Attitude and compassion to treat clients with dignity and respect. High school diploma or educational equivalent. Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level. Must have a valid and current state driver’s license and insurance. Must have safe and reliable transportation to go to and from the client’s location and/or facilities and have a vehicle available during assignments in order to assist clients with their needs if required. Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations. Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening including drug testing. Physical Demands include but are not limited to: Able to lift, move, and assist clients. If you feel you cannot safely lift the client, please notify the office immediately. Ability to safely assist client in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50 lbs into and out of a vehicle. Able to communicate with others to accurately exchange information. Able to operate office equipment such as a computer, phone, etc. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Able to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking and driving.
