Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active and valid OT licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development and special education law
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to manage a varied caseload and adapt interventions creatively

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy to support fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success in and out of the classroom
• Document and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams with your OT expertise
• Provide recommendations for accommodations, adaptive tools, and classroom modifications
