WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a correctional facility in Riverhead, NY . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while providing essential medical services to an underserved patient population.
Position Details
- Location: Riverhead, NY
- Setting: Correctional Facility
- Shifts Available:
- Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Night Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem Opportunities
- Competitive Pay Rates
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient health status, documenting findings accurately.
- Perform intake screenings and routine nursing assessments.
- Respond to medical concerns and emergencies within the facility.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and nursing standards.
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN License .
- Current BLS Certification .
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
- Correctional, behavioral health, detox, long-term care, or acute care experience is a plus.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
