Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: New York
Pay: $2,900 – $3,200 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)

Schedule:
36 hours preferred
Options: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties required per unit needs

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity cardiac program serving both adult and pediatric patients. This role involves working in a comprehensive Cath and EP Lab environment focused on advanced cardiac diagnosis and intervention, with strong collaboration between RN and CVT teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures

• Monitor and manage patients before, during, and after procedures

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient response

• Assist with invasive cardiac and vascular interventions

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases

Required Experience:

• Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics

• Cardiac Interventions (PCI, CTO)

• Pericardiocentesis

• Vascular Interventions

• Advanced devices: RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever

Mechanical Circulatory Support Required:

• ECMO

• Impella

• IABP

• ProtekDuo

• LVAD

Structural Heart Experience Required:

• TAVR

• MitraClip

• Watchman

• CardioMEMS

• PFO / ASD / VSD

• Valvuloplasty and ASA

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience

• Active New York RN License (required)

• BLS (AHA required)

• ACLS (AHA required)

• Moderate sedation experience

• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience

• Strong critical care or cardiac background

Nice to Have:

• Cardiovascular certification (RCES preferred)

• EP Lab experience

• Experience with device implants and ablation procedures
