Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate will have over four years of litigation experience, with a preference for labor and employment law. This role involves drafting and responding to discovery, motions, and pleadings, as well as taking and defending depositions in state and federal court. Duties Evaluate cases and provide recommendations. Communicate with clients and opposing counsel. Propound and respond to discovery requests. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda. Draft and argue motions and other court documents. Prepare for and attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations. Deliver excellent client service. Requirements Four or more years of civil litigation experience; labor and employment experience preferred. Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar. Experience with depositions, motions, and court hearings. Strong research and writing skills. Ability to work independently and multitask with attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and other database platforms. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
