Delivery Driver

We are seeking a dependable and customer-service-oriented working-Furniture Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate. This position is responsible for safely transporting, loading, unloading, and delivering furniture to customers. When not completing deliveries, the driver will assist with general warehouse duties.

Pay & Schedule

Tuesday-Saturday. Tuesday-Friday the hours are 7:45am-4:30pm and Saturday is 7:45am to 3:30pm. The hours also depend on finishing the route. There is overtime with the job. We generally tell people that there is about an hour overtime per week. This can very due to work volume.


$20-22/hr


Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture.
• Use dollies, hand trucks, straps, and other equipment to move items safely.
• Deliver furniture into customers' homes or businesses.
• Protect furniture, walls, floors, and doorways from damage.
• Assist with placing or assembling furniture when required.
• Provide polite, professional, and helpful customer service.
• Verify delivery items and paperwork for accuracy.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing furniture in the warehouse.
• Keep the delivery vehicle, warehouse, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company driving and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must have a clean driving record with no violations or incidents within the past three years.
• Must be physically able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable using dollies and other furniture-moving equipment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Polite, dependable, and customer-service oriented.
• Able to work well with a delivery partner and follow instructions.
• Previous delivery, moving, warehouse, or furniture-handling experience is preferred.
• This is a physical, hands-on position that requires safe driving, careful furniture handling, and professional interaction with customers.

What you need

• Current Class E Driver License (MO) Class E in KS
• No driving violations inside last 3 years.
• Able to pass hiring screens.
• Strong customer service skills
• Conscientious & Respectful to customers and their homes and belongings.
