Job Overview

Safeguard Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated and professional Appointment Setter to help grow our personal and commercial insurance business. This position is responsible for contacting local businesses, introducing our agency, identifying insurance renewal opportunities, and scheduling appointments for our licensed insurance agents.

This is an ideal position for someone with experience in sales, customer service, telemarketing, business development, or insurance.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to business owners and decision-makers.
Follow a provided calling script and sales process.
Identify insurance renewal dates and current insurance providers.
Schedule appointments for agency producers.
Send follow-up emails and marketing materials.
Update CRM with notes and follow-up activities.
Maintain organized prospect lists.
Follow up with prospects through multiple touchpoints.
Assist with lead generation and prospect research.

Insurance experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills
Comfortable making 50+ outbound calls per day
Professional phone presence
Organized and detail-oriented
Basic computer skills (email, CRM, Excel)
Self-motivated and dependable

Compensation

$18 per hour
Plus $ 25 bonuses for qualified appointments

Schedule

Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)
MondayFriday
Flexible schedule available
