Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Job description:
We are seeking aftercare staff to join our organization. Hours will be 2-530pm on various days Monday through Friday. There will be opportunities for additional hours if desired. Ages from 6 weeks to 6 years.
Must be 18 to apply. Only apply if you are able to work the shift times listed and willing to interview.
Responsibilities:
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
- Communicate with parents on children's growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all children
Qualifications:
- Prefer previous experience in childcare or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and get up and down off floor
- You will be required to assist with daily living skills (diapering, wiping noses, etc.)
